Effective September 27, 2026
Grizzly Dispatch is an automated phone assistant for service businesses, run by Bfree Investments Corp, doing business as Grizzly Dispatch, in Ashland, Oregon (“we,” “us”). This policy explains what we collect, why, who helps us process it, and the choices you have. It covers two groups of people: businesses that use Grizzly Dispatch (“customers”), and people who call or text those businesses (“callers”).
From businesses that sign up or ask about the service: your name, business name, email, phone numbers, city and service area, hours, prices, and anything else you tell us when you fill out our setup form or talk with us. If you try one of our demo lines, we keep your phone number and a note of how the demo went so we can follow up about your interest.
Billing: subscriptions are handled by Stripe. Stripe collects your card details directly; we see only your name, email, phone, business name, plan, and payment status, never your full card number.
From callers, on behalf of the business they called: the caller’s phone number, what they say to the assistant (converted to text), and the details they give, such as their name, the address or location of the job, a description of the problem or vehicle, a callback or texting number, and requested times. If a caller leaves a voicemail, we keep the recording and its transcript. Texts exchanged with the assistant are kept the same way. The assistant’s greeting tells every caller, before they say anything, that it is automated and that the call is transcribed.
Location for arrival estimates: if a business owner turns on location sharing in their dashboard, we store their most recent location to calculate drive times. We don’t keep a history of where they’ve been.
We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t use callers’ information to market to them. A caller’s information is shared with the business they called, because that’s the point of the call.
We use a small number of service providers, each only for the job described:
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect someone’s safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business, in which case this policy would continue to apply.
The assistant texts callers only about the request they made: for example, a confirmation, a follow-up from the business, or a link to finish a request by text after a missed call. Message frequency varies with the request, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts from that number, or HELP for help. We don’t share phone numbers with anyone for their marketing.
We keep job records, call logs, messages, and recordings while the business’s account is active, so it can look back at its jobs. When an account ends, we delete that business’s caller records within 90 days unless the business asks us to delete them sooner, or the law requires us to keep something longer. Backups follow the same schedule. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.
Connections to the service are encrypted. Calls and texts are accepted only when they carry our phone carrier’s verified signature, the dashboard is password-protected, and access to the data is limited to the people who run the service. No system is perfectly secure, but we take care, and if a breach ever affects your information, we’ll tell you.
Email brian@grizzlydispatch.com and we’ll respond within 30 days.
Grizzly Dispatch is a service for businesses and isn’t directed to children under 13.
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we’ll update the date above and, for customers, email you before the change takes effect.
