Ran out between exits? Enough fuel to get you to a station, delivered to where you sit.
The gauge said you'd make it. It lied. Running dry between exits on I-5 or up a mountain road happens to careful people every week, and walking a highway shoulder with a gas can is how bad days get worse — stay with your vehicle and call instead.
Fuel delivery is $100 plus the cost of the fuel itself in Ashland (mileage added farther out) — enough gasoline or diesel to get you comfortably to the nearest station, not a token splash.
Heads-up for diesels: some vehicles need the fuel system primed after running completely dry. If cranking doesn't do it after fuel arrives, the tow to a shop is on the same truck.
